Of all types of corporate training, leadership development is invested in to a far larger degree than any kind of workplace learning, yet 71% of organizational executives do not believe their leaders are able to lead their organization into the future. Why? Because after all the money spent, just 15 per cent of leaders who get training are actually able to establish permanent change after traditional learning experiences.
I have a different take on this, and offer thoughts on how organizations can avoid wasting their money.
Leaders are the ones best positioned in their organizations to make things better, yet so little of their development (and so few of the performance expectations placed on them) centres on creating the conditions for workplaces where employees can bring their talents to the fore.

Along with all the fears and indignities, cancer invites us to embrace uncertainty as we are pushed to live with ambiguity, trusting that even when the path ahead is obscured, we can still find ways to join forces with others and move forward.
